Your address, a description of the problem, which fixtures or areas are affected, and whether water is actively leaking. Photos can also help us understand the issue.
The cost depends on the type of problem, the materials required, access, and the amount of work involved. Contact us to explain the issue and discuss how an estimate can be arranged.
Emergency Plumbing
Yes. We are available 24/7 for plumbing emergencies such as burst pipes, major leaks, overflowing fixtures, and sewer backups. Call 249-523-3314 any time. Learn more about our emergency plumbing service.
Response time depends on your location, the type of problem, and current availability. For urgent issues, call us directly so we can confirm the earliest option.
If water is leaking, turn off the fixture shut-off valve or your home’s main water shut-off. Stop using affected fixtures, keep people away from water near electrical outlets or equipment, and call us.
Burst or leaking pipes, a toilet that keeps overflowing, sewage backing up into your home, a leaking water heater, and any leak you cannot stop are all worth treating as urgent.
Drains and Sewer Lines
Grease, hair, soap residue, and foreign objects are common causes. If several fixtures drain slowly or clogs keep coming back, the blockage may be deeper in the drain or sewer line. Our drain cleaning service focuses on finding the cause.
We do not recommend them. Chemical drain cleaners can be hazardous to handle, can be hard on some pipes, and often do not remove the cause of a recurring blockage.
Stop using toilets, sinks, showers, and appliances that drain water. Avoid contact with sewage, keep people and pets away from the area, and contact a plumber. If a municipal sewer problem is suspected, also contact your city or region.
In many Ontario municipalities, homeowners are responsible for the private section of the sewer line on their property, while the municipality looks after the public section. Rules vary, so check with your local municipality.
Water Heaters
Common causes include ignition or pilot problems, gas or power supply issues, a faulty heating element or thermostat, or a failing tank. Our water heater services start with an assessment of the cause.
It depends on the age, condition, and type of water heater and the nature of the problem. We assess the unit and explain your options.
A leak from the tank itself often means the tank is failing. Turn off the water supply to the heater if you can safely reach the valve, and call us.
Sump Pumps and Basement Protection
Warning signs include a pump that does not turn on, runs constantly, makes unusual noises, or leaves water sitting in the pit. Learn more about sump pump installation and repair.
Test it periodically, especially before spring thaw and heavy rain. Slowly pour water into the pit and confirm the pump turns on and drains the water.
Repairs and Fixtures
Yes. We install compatible residential fixtures, including toilets, sinks, faucets, and shower fixtures. See our fixture installation service.
Possible causes include clogged faucet aerators, leaks, partly closed valves, and problems in the supply piping. Our plumbing repairs service can help find the cause.
Yes. A running toilet can waste a significant amount of water. The cause is often a worn flapper or fill valve, which can usually be repaired.
Keep your home heated, insulate pipes in unheated areas, disconnect outdoor hoses, and shut off outdoor faucets from inside before winter. If a pipe freezes or bursts, turn off the main water supply and call us.
